CATHEDRAL is an affordable apartment in downtown Belgrade, located across the street from the Church of St. Michael. This is a delightful little studio, very cozy and elegant. The wall and furniture colors are soothing, the lighting carefully chosen and discreet. Deep red armchairs are as comfortable as they’re aesthetically pleasing. We notice a peculiar drum-shaped coffee table. The double bed is made of premium quality timber and is super comfy. There’s a pair bedside tables with elegant lamps and mysterious female portrait above. The ceiling is adorned with a marvelous chandelier, resembling the orbital model of an atom. Upholstered stool and wooden table are placed below the LED TV, while the double wardrobe occupies the very corner of the room, next to the entrance. Made of wood and glass, with multiple panes, this door is truly a work of art. Similar could be said for the carpentry found in the kitchen. Vertical board with an improvised bar is a great spot for quick meals. The remaining part of the kitchen has a set of wall and floor cabinets, along with a microwave and a cooktop. Bathroom sports beautiful ceramics in light brown and beige tones, with pearl textures. In addition to the oval shower stall and basic sanitation, there’s a hairdryer that might come in handy.

Entire novels could be written about this location and its urban environment. Before you lays a charming historical district, with its numerous monuments and green oasis. The orthodox Patriarchate and Princess Ljubica’s Residence are in the neighborhood. Toplicin Venac and Kosancicev Venac with landscaped gardens and restaurants, are close by. Kalemegdan park and Knez Mihailova Street are just a few steps from the building. The Republic Square, Terazije and Strahinjica Bana Street are within a five-minute walk.
